An entertaining tv series full of hilarious challenges

Game Breakers is a game show for children, entirely conceived and produced by Het Peloton. In 8 fun episodes, Ketnet wrapper Thomas invites a different (Ketnet) hero to his gamehall to battle it out. Among others, he games with Timon Verbeeck, Amber Aerts (Mia from #LikeMe) and Average Rob.

They challenge each other to arcade games with promising names like Down the Clown or Grand Piano Keys. But that’s not all … we make it extra exciting! The players not only have to do their best to win the game, but they also get a crazy assignment in addition. In the game Pump it Up, they have to both dance, and put on a disco costume. And why play only the game of Pong, when you can eat cakes and drink tea in the meantime? The challenges show who is the best gamer….

Hilarious and exciting at the same time, just right for the young Ketnet viewer.

EPISODE 1

Thomas vs. Timon Verbeeck

Ketnet wrapper Thomas challenges Timon Verbeeck to an exciting duel in his gamehall. They play Down the Clown, where the goal is to knock over as many clown heads as possible. But there’s an extra challenge: while they aim, they must paint themselves as a real clown! Who stays focused and scores the most points? Who gets all confused?

EPISODE 2

Thomas vs. Average Rob

Thomas takes on Average Rob in an exciting racing game. But this is no ordinary battle. While trying to control their car, they must simultaneously eat as many hot chips as possible from their sombreros. Who will stay cool behind the wheel and who will fly out of the corner?

EPISODE 3

Thomas vs. Amber Aerts

Dance skills come in handy in Pump It Up, and Amber has plenty of them. But what if she has to put on a disco costume with accessories at the same time? Thomas and Amber try to keep their rhythm as they change on the dance floor. Who stays tight in step and who gets caught up in glitter and mayhem?

EPISODE 4

Thomas vs. Steven Van Herreweghe

Pong is one of the first video games, and Steven Van Herreweghe was the first Ketnet wrapper. But does it really benefit him? Maybe not, because while he and Thomas are popping cubes at each other, they must simultaneously eat as many cakes as possible and drink tea like neat old grannies. Who stays calm and elegant, and who smashes their crockery?

EPISODE 5

Thomas vs. Alexander Hendrickx

Air field hockey against Red Lion Alexander Hendrickx? That’s going to be tough for Thomas! But how sharp does the top athlete stay when he has to spin cotton candy at the same time? Will it be a smooth victory or a sticky mess? Thomas smells his chance to throw Alexander off balance.

EPISODE 6

Tomas vs. Stien Edlund

Thomas takes on Stien Edlund in Grand Piano Keys, but playing the piano alone is too easy. While they press the right keys with their hands, they must use their feet to fish slippery ducklings from a tank full of water and foam. Who sounds the best and fishes the most ducks?

EPISODE 7

Thomas vs. Waiko

The cast of Waiko knows aliens like no other, but how do they fare in Space Invaders? Thomas takes on them in an intergalactic battle. But the real challenge begins when they also have to deal with a rain of balls. Who will keep track and who will lose north?

EPISODE 8

Thomas vs. Victor Schelstraete

Boxing is all about speed, but top boxer Victor Schelstraete has to show more than just quick reflexes! While he and Thomas compete in Speed of Light, they must also shake loose as many balls as possible from the box on their backs. Who will hit the most buttons and work their way to victory?
